The European powder festival will host an eminent personality of worldwide mountaineering: Maurizio Zanolla, also known as Manolo, renowned to be the father of free climbing. During European Freeride Festival the Alpine Guide will share his knowledge and experience with The White Planet Telemark Camp’s participants for a safe behaviour in freeriding.

Back to the slow-ski characterising telemarking, having the opportunity to enjoy everything is progressively forgotten: slowness, contemplation, silences. Breaks to observe and celebrate the snow, not only gliding on its surface. This is White Planet camp’s purpose, with 3-days lessons on telemark techniques in deep snow. It will be also possible to meet Manolo during the round-table ‘From Freeriding to Free Climbing‘ (Italian language), that will take place at Plaza Placheda on Tuesday the 3rd of February at 4.00 pm: the Italian alpinist will discuss with the opinion leader Luca Gasparini about affinities and differences of mountain free disciplines.
