Red Bull Peaks Trilogy – Teaser
Red Bull Peaks Trilogy the project that illustrates the concentrate of technical skills, experience and passion embodied by the athlete Aaron Durogati, world cross country paragliding champion, expert skier, speed riding aficionado and mountaineer. An endeavour never before attempted, immortalised by the lenses of the Red Bull team of photographers and video makers; an undertaking only an eclectic character such as Aaron could have been capable of.
Much more than a simple attempt at an impressive sports achievement, Peaks Trilogy combines Aaron’s greatest loves, mountains and flying, with the fatigue of the climb and the adrenalin of the descent, on skis or suspended in mid-air with his paraglider. The idea underlying the project is entirely innovative, with the aim being to reach the peak of three of the most emblematic mountains in the Alps (Monte Rosa, Mont Blanc and the Breithorn), without using lift facilities or a helicopter, and to descend the steepest, wildest mountainsides using the speed riding technique, i.e. with skis on his feet and with the support of a little paragliding sail.
